RISE Kickboxing champion Kazuki Osaki loses in his RWS debut in a title challenge against Rajadamnern bantamweight champ Jaroensook in a one-sided loss.

In a striking super fight between RISE Kickboxing Super Flyweight champion Kazuki Osaki and Rajadamnern Stadium Bantamweight champion Jaroensook, many kickboxing fans were left dismayed as the pound-for-pound talent was dominated throughout the match.

The boxing-heavy knockout artist was never able to establish himself in the boxing range, as Jaroensook wouldn’t stay in range long and instead looked to crash into the Japanese fighter. The pressuring Nak Muay appeared to rock Osaki early, and by the end of the first round, the kickboxer had suffered two notable cuts on his face from elbows.

The rest of the bout wouldn't fare much better for Kazuki Osaki, who would have no answer for Jaroensook's clinch. The taller Thai fighter would aggressively tie Osaki up whenever he attempted to open up his boxing offense. The Muay Thai champion made him pay for his efforts with a suffocating clinch, leading to Jaroensook's knee and elbow offense throughout the fight. That not only punished but also drained Osaki, as his punches grew more labored and slower as the fight went on.

As the fight came to a close in a clear and dominant win for the Thai champion, Osaki was still shown great respect for his brave return to Muay Thai. Both fighters were rewarded with a “Fighting Spirit” bonus of 250,000 baht. Combined with his 250,000 baht fight purse, the RISE champion earned a total of 500,000 baht for his efforts. Whether the Japanese fighter will continue to pursue Muay Thai, as some top kickboxers have, such as fellow RISE champion Chad Collins, time can only tell as Osaki starts to rest and recuperate and see what's next for his return.
