Chadd Collins Out of Last Featherweight Standing Tournament with Shoulder Injury – “I’m Gutted... I Love to Fight, and at This Point I Live to Fight”

The Australian won't be making it to the ring this weekend.

Four days before his scheduled fight against Japanese fighter Yura, RISE held an emergency press conference announcing that Chadd Collins has officially withdrawn from The Last Featherweight Standing tournament due to a shoulder injury.

"I've been dealing with shoulder injuries since my last fight. During sparring on Saturday, I missed with a punch and heard a loud pop," said the Australian fighter.

In his absence, Yura will take on Sumiya Ito on the same card in an OFG (open-finger gloves) bout outside of the tournament. Despite the change, Yura will move forward in the bracket, while Collins’ return to the competition remains uncertain, depending on how quickly he recovers.
