The younger Osaki brother followed his title win with another excellent performance.

At the RISE 181 event held at Korakuen Hall, Koki Osaki successfully defended his RISE Bantamweight (-55 kg) title against Ryunosuke Omori, winning by unanimous decision.

Osaki dominated on the inside, seamlessly transitioning between unloading punches after the clinch and tying up his opponent with powerful knees to secure his first title defense. The event also featured impressive performances by other fighters, including Tenshi Matsumoto's consecutive first-round KO win and Seido's split decision victory over Kotaro Tenno.

Koki Osaki stated that he has no intention of calling out any Japanese opponents, emphasizing that he is no longer just a challenger. He expressed a desire to compete globally with his brother, particularly in ONE Championship, where they believe they can achieve victories that have eluded other Japanese fighters.

RISE representative Takashi Ito confirmed discussions for Osaki to join ONE Championship, with an offer already on the table for ONE Friday Fights.

"We've already been in discussions, and there's an offer for ONE Friday Fights. I think it would be good for him to fight overseas as an away fighter. We'd like to arrange something within this year. He can do both kickboxing and Muay Thai, but we'd like to send him out under kickboxing rules."
