International K-1 fans are out of luck this time.

Despite K-1 continuing the "ReBIRTH" moniker, an event series aimed at global expansion, ReBIRTH 2 on December 9 will once again have no international broadcasting deal in place, sources told Beyond Kickboxing. The stacked event will feature multiple world title fights including Hiromi Wajima, Hasan Toy, Toma Kuroda, and Akihiro Kaneko.

K-1 started to advertise ReBIRTH or ReBOOT as the next step in the promotion's storied history and as a return to global dominance. As it turns out, things seem more complicated than initially thought. The first event in September had deals with DAZN and FITE TV fall through in the last second and was half-heartedly thrown onto the QUINTET YouTube channel. Whether there are issues with K-1's complicated international license or the promotion has abandoned plans is unknown.

The event will exclusively stream on Abema on December 9 at 12:30 PM JST.
