In their first fight back in April, Regian Eersel faced Alexis Nicolas for the ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Title. Eersel dominated most of the later rounds, but an early knockdown proved crucial, leading the judges to favor the undefeated Frenchman and award him the win.
Determined to reclaim the title he once held, Eersel returned to face Nicolas in an immediate rematch. In the hard-fought five-round battle, Eersel, already the ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Champion, put on a strong performance to reclaim the ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Title.
From the opening bell, Eersel set the pace, relentlessly pressuring his French opponent and landing powerful right hands. "The Immortal" showed a clear sense of urgency, determined not to leave the outcome to the judges this time. Although Nicolas mounted a rally in the later rounds, Eersel's early dominance secured him a unanimous decision victory. This win reestablished Eersel as a dual champion in both Muay Thai and kickboxing.
