Former K-1 Super Lightweight Champion Rukiya Anpo is set for his long-awaited ONE Championship debut. The Japanese striker will face featherweight contender Marat Grigorian on November 16 at ONE 173 in Tokyo.

Anpo’s move to ONE has been in the works since last year, when he revealed he was in talks with the promotion and open to competing without committing to a long-term contract. After leaving K-1, he stayed active with appearances in RIZIN and crossover bouts, but now steps back into the division’s deep end.
Grigorian, a former ONE title challenger and one of the sport’s most experienced names, presents a tough challenge. The bout has been announced as a title-contender fight, with the winner set to face the victor of the title unification clash between Superbon and Masaaki Noiri.
