The official weigh-ins for SENSHI 28: Grand Prix took place today, confirming the full lineup for tomorrow night. Grand Prix’s are among the most grueling formats in combat sports, demanding not only power but also resilience, as fighters may compete up to three times in one evening. K-1 legend Nicholas Pettas hosted the press conference, while icons such as Ernesto Hoost, Semmy Schilt, Francisco Filho, Andy Souwer, and Albert Kraus were also in attendance, who will play their roles as referees, mentors, and special guests within the SENSHI framework.

SENSHI'S THIRD PLACE MATCH
One of the elements that sets the SENSHI Grand Prix apart from other one-night tournaments is the inclusion of a third place bout. Unlike most brackets, the losers of the semifinals don’t just pack up and go home. Instead, they’re asked to step back into the ring one more time, regroup after a setback, and fight for a place on the podium. It’s an unforgiving twist that demands mental toughness as much as physical endurance.
