GLORY has announced the suspensions of Tomas Mozny, Petr Romankevich, and Sina Karimian following positive in-competition drug tests collected at GLORY 99 on April 5, 2025. The samples were analyzed at a World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) accredited laboratory.

Heavyweight veteran Tomas Mozny tested positive for a metabolite of metandione, a banned anabolic agent under the WADA Prohibited List. He has been handed a two-year suspension, retroactive to May 13, 2025, when his provisional suspension began. Following his win, the Slovakian kickboxer was originally scheduled to face Miloš Cvjetićanin at GLORY 100, but was quietly removed from the card with no explanation at the time.

Petr Romankevich tested positive for two prohibited substances: clomiphene, classified as a hormone and metabolic modulator, and 4-chloro-metandione metabolite, an anabolic agent. He received a 20-month suspension, effective from May 13, 2025.

Former K-1 cruiserweight champion Sina Karimian tested positive for boldenone and its metabolite, both anabolic agents. He has been suspended for 18 months, also starting May 13, 2025. The news comes months after Karimian publicly accused his knockout victor, Liu Ce, of using steroids following their fight last year — a claim that has now aged poorly in light of his own positive test.
All three fighters’ results from GLORY 99 have been overturned and declared no-contests. In addition, GLORY has enforced financial penalties in accordance with its Anti-Doping Rules.
