Sitthichai Signs Multi-Fight Deal with Japanese Promotion KNOCK OUT

The former GLORY champion has found a new home.

It's been a quick turnaround for Thailand's Sitthichai. Japanese promotion KNOCK OUT has announced that the former GLORY champion and ONE athlete has signed a multi-fight deal. Like ONE Championship, KNOCK OUT offers fighters three rulesets: Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA.

An unexpected move, as KNOCK OUT’s lightweight division has been largely inactive in recent years. Sitthichai has emphasized that he will focus on kickboxing going forward — the last time the belt at that weight was contested was four years ago, when Kaito Ono defeated Hinata, before the promotion merged with 'Rebels'.

Nonetheless, KNOCK OUT has been building momentum, landing major acquisitions, including former K-1 champions Taito Gunji and Kongnapa.
