Dramatic scenes in the heavyweight tournament.

In one of the group finals of the Last Heavyweight Standing tournament, Bahram Rajabzadeh and Mory Kromah faced off in a high-stakes showdown, with a ticket to December’s tournament final on the line.

In typical Bahram fashion, "The Golden Wolf" came out aggressively, throwing wild punches and jumping knees. Amid the chaotic exchanges, he hurt Kromah and shoved him to the ground, blatantly kneeing him twice while he was down. After the second foul, tensions boiled over as both fighters got in each other’s faces, adding to the already heated atmosphere.

The two illegal strikes led to a lengthy pause as officials entered the ring to decide how to handle the situation—with even GLORY CEO Marshall Zelaznik stepping in to try to calm things down. Bafflingly, the referees chose to deduct only a single point from Bahram.

When the fight resumed, Kromah responded spectacularly—first dropping Bahram with a close-range knee to the head, then again with a jumping knee as Bahram wildly swung hooks. The former Enfusion champion stopped the reckless Golden Wolf and advanced to the final phase of the tournament in dominant fashion.

Despite the chaos, controversy, and questionable refereeing, Kroma’s comeback stands out as a frontrunner for this year’s knockout of the year.
