A historic night unfolded at GLORY 107 as Chico Kwasi etched his name into the promotion’s history books. Fighting in front of a packed RTM Stage in Rotterdam, the welterweight champion moved up in weight and defeated Donovan Wisse to capture the GLORY middleweight world title.

In a bout defined by fine margins, both fighters traded momentum across five tightly contested rounds. Wisse started sharply, relying on his trademark composure and technical precision, but Kwasi gradually grew into the fight. When the Amsterdam native began to impose his rhythm, finding success mostly with his uppercut.

The contest ultimately went to the judges, who were split in their decision (50-45, 48-47, 48-47, 48-47, 47-48), awarding Kwasi the victory. The victory makes the 28-year-old the third two-division champion in GLORY Kickboxing history, alongside Alex Pereira and Robin van Roosmalen. Further, he becomes only the second fighter to hold two titles at the same time, joining Pereira.
Light Heavyweight Division Takes Center Stage
