GLORY and RISE have announced the participants for their upcoming Featherweight Grand Prix, scheduled for December 21. Eight fighters, four from RISE and four from GLORY, will compete in this single-day tournament. The winner will take home a prize of $100,000. Additional prizes will be announced later.
Representing GLORY are Petchpanomrung, Miguel Trindade, Abraham Vidales, and Berjan Peposhi. RISE’s lineup includes Kento Haraguchi, Chadd Collins, Taiju Shiratori, and Lee Sung Hyun.
The tournament will be broadcast on ABEMA in Japan and via GLORY's PPV service internationally. The rules will differ slightly from standard RISE rules, with stricter regulations on clinching and knee strikes.
The quarter-final matchups are expected to be revealed within a month.
