With Chingiz Allazov's future in ONE uncertain, the promotion has booked a interim title fight between the top contenders.

A trilogy between two of the best in the division is set to headline ONE Friday Fights 58 on April 5th.

Former ONE Featherweight Kickboxing Champ Superbon Singha Mawynn is set to take on long-standing rival Marat Grigorian in a rubber match for the Interim ONE Featherweight title and to settle a trilogy between two of the top fighters at the 70 KG limit.

The announcement of an interim title match comes on the heels of big news involving contract disputes between ONE and current Featherweight kickboxing champion Chingiz Allazov after the Azerbaijiani-Belarusian athlete expressed grievances with the restrictive terms laid out in ONE's contracts and intentions to finish his career by fighting in Belarus, Russia, and Azerbaijan.

Wasting no time to settle grievances with Allazov, ONE has issued an interim title match between top contenders Superbon and Marat Grigorian. The two last fought in the finals of the Kunlun Fight 69 World MAX tournament in 2018 and ONE: X in 2022, with Marat Grigorian winning by knock out within less than a minute of their first meeting and Superbon claiming a wide unanimous decision victory in their second meeting to defend his ONE Featherweight title.

Marat Grigorian enters this contest having last defeated his greatest rival Sitthichai by third round KO in January, putting down the veteran southpaw kicker with a vicious series of punches and a knee to the body. Whilst Superbon made an unsuccessful shot at the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai title in a close unanimous decision loss against southpaw phenom Tawanchai.

The fight will take place at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. Whether the event will be available for purchase, like ONE's last tent pole event, remains to be announced.
