In the co-main event, Superlek took on Panpayak in a catchweight bout. Another close call between the two long-time rivals, as the judges' scorecards and fan opinions were split on who took the eighth meeting between the two. Ultimately, Superlek defeated Panpayak with a hard-fought split decision.
Whether that means Superlek is the next to get a shot at ONE's golden boy Rodtang is not known yet. As he and Panpayak missed weight and hydration the fight wasn't officially labeled as the Flyweight Muay Thai Grand Prix final. Either way, Superlek is busy preparing for his ONE Kickboxing Flyweight title fight against Ilias Ennahachi next month at ONE on Prime Video 6.
Making his highly anticipated ONE Championship debut, Chorfah was met by Russian striker Tagir Khalilov. The two started hectic, exchanging heavy shots, with the Thai landing crushing kicks to the body of Khalilov. In the midst of the action, Khalilov timed a beautiful uppercut, sending Chorfah fumbling to the canvas - but not before landing a kick to his head on his way down.
A strong performance, and the first win in the ONE circle for Khalilov, who's been awarded $50.000 for his highlight-reel finish.
