ONE Championship and Channel 7 HD announced their partnership at a press conference held at Channel 7 HD’s Studio 8 in Bangkok, Thailand earlier today. ONE's biggest Thai stars were in attendance including Rodtang, Nong-O, Superbon and Stamp.
Additionally, ONE announced a partnership with Tero Entertainment. Tero is a mass media and entertainment company in Thailand. It organizes and promotes concerts, owns record labels, and produces films and television shows.
Channel 7 HD’s ONE Lumpinee broadcasts will air at 8:30 PM local time and broadcast live to more than 150 countries around the world, beginning with "ONE Lumpinee 1" on January 20.
The first card will feature the ONE debut of Seksan Or. Kwanmuang vs. Tyson Harrison in a catchweight Muay Thai bout.
Seksan is one of the most storied fighters in Thailand, and has fought the who's who of Muay Thai, while earning himself the Rajadamnern title twice. Tyson "John Wayne Noi" Harrison is an uprising Australian fighter competing on the Thai fight circuit, training out of Sangtiennoi Gym.
The previously announced headlining fight between Nong-O Gaiyanghadao vs. Alaverdi Ramazanov for the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title fight will be pushed back. It will now headline ONE Lumpinee 2 on January 27.
