ONE Fight Night 13 took place yesterday in Bangkok, Thailand at the Lumpinee Stadium. Several high-stakes kickboxing matches took place. In the main event, Chingiz Allazov faced Marat Grigorian to settle their trilogy with the ONE Featherweight Championship on the line. Further down the card, former GLORY champion Davit Kiria welcomed ONE Featherweight Muay Thai champion Tawanchai to the kickboxing division.
CHINGIZ ALLAZOV VS. MARAT GRIGORIAN
The clash between Chingiz Allazov and Marat Grigorian delivered fireworks as expected. The champion looked even more mobile than usual, actively outmaneuvering and outscoring his opponent in the opening rounds. Grigorian kept applying pressure, occasionally trapping Allazov into a corner and unloading heavy hooks and low kicks. Allazov's impeccable footwork kept him out of trouble most of the time, but it was obvious that the challenger was catching up in the later rounds. In the final round, Grigorian was gunning for the finish, but it was too little too late.
After the fight, Allazov acknowledged Grigorian's great performance, saying he's the best fighter he's faced in ONE.
TAWANCHAI VS. DAVIT KIRIA
Tawanchai made his ONE kickboxing debut against former GLORY champion Davit Kiria. The Georgian fighter had no real answer for Tawanchai's constant assault on his body, other than to valiantly try to close the distance. At the end of round two, Kiria found his target multiple times, snapping the head of the Thai back. The end came in the final round when Tawanchai landed another brutal kick, snapping Kiria's right arm in half.
ELIAS MAHMOUDI VS. EDGAR TABARES
Elias Mahmoudi made his return to the ONE ring for the first time in two years. Plagued with injuries and fight cancellations the French fighter wasted no time to impress the crowd and made quick work of Edgar Tabares. Despite the first-round stoppage he was not legible for a bonus due to missing weight.
