In a short-lived main event, Superbon, ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion and current top contender in ONE's Muay Thai division made quick work of "Smokin" Jo Nattawut. An elbow opened a cut on Nattawut just a minute into the fight, and another elbow halted him in his tracks, securing the victory for Superbon.
TAKERU VS. THANT ZIN
After suffering a loss to Superlek and recovering from a fractured knee, Takeru made his much-anticipated return to the ring, eager to secure his first win in ONE Championship.
Standing across from him was the heavy-hitting Thant Zin, who proved to be a tough opponent right from the start. In the opening round, the two fighters exchanged blows at close range, but it was Thant Zin who delivered the first heavy knockdown with a leaping left hook that caught an unsuspecting Takeru.
The fighter from Japan appeared much more urgent in the following round, actively hunting for both body and head shots as he pressured Zin, who found himself on the back foot. A front kick right to the midsection folded Zin in half, and Takeru followed up with a second knockdown shortly after. After the fight, Rodtang entered the ring, and the two stars faced off ahead of their potential super fight.
HIROKI AKIMOTO VS. ILIAS ENNAHACHI
On his way up a division, Ilias Ennahachi faced fellow former champion Hiroki Akimoto in a bantamweight bout.
The two exchanged heavy combinations in the opening round, with neither fighter gaining a clear edge. As the round came to a close, Ennahachi landed a solid left hook, dropping Akimoto and prompting an 8-count. With a point lead in his pocket, the fighter from Morocco utilized his slick footwork to evade the now-pressing Akimoto. While Akimoto found more success in the following rounds, it wasn't enough to overcome the earlier knockdown.
