Rodtang started the bout with a relaxed pace with his hands low, seemingly trying to test out Lasiri's power. "The Iron Man" increased the pressure in the second round, going for his patented right straight into a left hook to the body, whenever he was able to successfully pressure the Italian fighter against the cage. In round four, Rodtang was able to tag Lasiri with a stiff jab and drop him. Having trouble keeping up with Rodtang's onslaught, Lasiri was on the backfoot the entire time while trying to avoid incoming shots. In the final round, Rodtang left Lasiri no breathing room, pressuring and taunting him non-stop as his right hand came in crashing, sending Lasiri to the canvas for a second time. In the end, all three judges scored the bout whooping 50-43 decision in favor of Rodtang.
In the featured main fight of the lead card, fan-favorite Jonathan Haggerty made his Bantamweight debut against the crafty Vladimir Kuzmin. The Russian fighter wasted no time and started pressuring Haggerty from the get-go. Haggerty, who's usually comfortable trading in boxing range while employing his signature elbows, had trouble keeping up with the heavy shots of Kuzmin. He decided to stay on the outside, peppering him with lead leg kicks whenever possible. At the end of the three rounds, Haggerty walked away with the majority decision win. A controversial decision in the eyes of many fans, who thought Kuzmin's more effective pressure should have gotten him the nod on the judges' cards.
