Two-time ONE lightweight title challenger Sinsamut Klinmee (88-19-3) will return on January 24 at ONE 170 against Spaniard Nauzet Trujillo (49-11-2) at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
Klinmee, 29, last fought and lost in October by decision against ONE debutant Youssef Assouik. The Thai fighter has had a mixed record over the past few years, having gotten three straight knockouts including over Liam Nolan and Nieky Holzken before losing to current ONE Lightweight Champion Reigen Eersel twice in title fights. Sinsamut has gone 2-2 since.
Trujillo, 34, last fought for ONE almost a year ago defeating Liam Nolan. Since then he's stayed active on the Spanish Fight 2 One promotion, losing to Hungarian Muay Thai fighter and mobile app developer Zoltan Nardelotti and fighting to a draw with French Fabien Bareyre in caged striking matches.
Fans can look forward to an exciting fight as Klinmee's fights have ended before the final bell six out of his last ten bouts.
ONE 170 will also features other notable Muay Thai matches including reigning featherweight Muay Thai champion Tawanchai against now-kickboxing champion Superbon, who was granted the title after Chingiz Allazov vacated it.
