Smokin' Jo will replace the injured Superbon on ten-days notice.

The world's second-best kickboxer will not be making his return to Muay Thai.

Superbon, former Kunlun Fight and ONE Championship Lightweight titleholder, has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout against Tawanchai after suffering a calf injury.

ONE Championship has opted to scrap the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai title bout completely and has instead booked Tawanchai in a three-round kickboxing contest for the same event, which will take place on October 7, against fellow Thai, Jo Nattawut.

No stranger to short-notice fights, Nattawut will be making a return to professional competition following a 15-month break, with his last two appearances likewise coming on short notice. Having lost three of his last four and with just ten days to prepare, Nattawut will have a tough challenge on his hands as he faces a red-hot Tawanchai, who has established himself as a pound-for-pound Muay Thai talent and has most recently made his debut in our rankings with a third-round stoppage over former GLORY champion Davit Kiria.

The rest of the kickboxing lineup remains unchanged: Jonathan Di Bella will make his maiden ONE Strawweight Kickboxing title defense against Danial Williams, while Supergirl Jaroonsak is expected to face Cristina Morales in the Atomweight division.
