Another great addition to the striking roster.

Asa Ten Pow (12-2) has signed a multi-fight contract with Singaporean MMA giant ONE Championship, the fighter announced on his social media accounts.

The 32-year had a very successful run in GLORY going 6-1, only losing to Zakaria Zouggary in his most recent fight under Kickboxing rules at GLORY 74 in 2019. Before taking on Kickboxing, the American had a promising Muay Thai career, dating back as far as 2004, where he amassed a wealth of titles during his amateur days.

Since Ten Pow has been active in Kickboxing, Muay Thai & MMA, It's unclear if he will stick to the Super Fight Series or if he signed in hopes of further pursuing his MMA career. Australian Muay Thai fighter Danial Williams for example, who took on Rodtang on short notice at ONE on TNT also decided in favor of MMA when continuing his ONE Championship run, despite plenty of challenges inside the ONE Muay Thai Flyweight division.

With GLORY struggling during the pandemic, Ten Pow focused on his grappling skills and kicked off his MMA career, debuting at Titan FC 72 with a first-round stoppage against arnest Walls. In his second MMA bout just three months later at Titan FC 73, he got a little overzealous as he ended the bout with an illegal grounded knee, resulting in a no-contest.

As a Featherweight, he'd be looking to compete in ONE Championships stacked Bantamweight divisions. Home of fighters like Hiroki Akimoto, Capitan Petchinydee, Alaverdi Ramazanov and Nong-O Gaiyanghadao.

With their expansion into the American market, the promotion has been looking to snag up more local striking talent like Eddie Abasolo, another recent acquisition to their Muay Thai roster. It wouldn't surprise us, if Ten Pow & Abasolo will debut on one of the upcoming ONE on Prime Videos cards, that are exclusive to the United States and Canada.
