More notably, the fight is now expected to be “Rodtang’s final fight in ONE,” confirmed by ONE Championship, with both sides expected to part ways after the bout.
The confirmation follows the promotion’s announcement earlier this week that it has initiated legal proceedings against Rodtang in multiple jurisdictions, citing repeated breaches of contractual obligations and alleged potentially defamatory statements. At the same time, tensions between both sides have continued to escalate publicly in recent months.
Rodtang has addressed the situation on social media, expressing frustration over the circumstances surrounding his ONE contract and questioning the fairness of the situation. “I don’t intend to fight against what is right, but I am ready to fight against what is wrong,” he wrote.
