A high-stakes Super Flyweight bout is set for the RISE World Series 2022 in October.

RISE announced that Kazuki Osaki will make his first RISE Super Flyweight (-53kg) title defense against Kazane.

The two first fought at RISE 137 in February 2020, with Osaki taking home a unanimous decision.

It was Osaki's promotional debut, with him only having competed once before in Kickboxing, coming off an accomplished Muay Thai career throughout the Thai stadiums and Japanese domestic scene. The No. 10 Pound-for-Pound fighter in Beyond Kickboxing's Rankings won his last fight in emphatic fashion, knocking out Saenchai Teppen Gym in the second round.

Kazane has since won last years stacked RISE -53kg Dead or Alive Tournament, earning his shot at teammate and Kickboxing ace Tenshin Nasukawa, but dropping a competitive decision. He then won against K-1 Japan Group's Toma Kuroda at the mega event ‘THE MATCH 2022’, two months back.
