Beyond Kick's eight-best pound-for-pound female Kickboxer will make her World Series debut.

RISE Atomweight (-46 kg) queen Koyuki Miyazaki (8-1-1, 0 KOs), will face the Isan and Thepprasit Stadium Muay Thai Champion Petloolaon Sarigym (35-6-1) in a non-title bout on October 15. The fight will take place at the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan, and will be Miyazaki's first time fighting at a RISE World Series event – RISE's flagship series of events.

Miyazaki will enter the contest on a six-fight winning streak. She began her 2021 by beating two opponents in one day to win the Atomweight Next Challenger Tournament and earn her shot at the divisional queen Momi, whom she beat by decision two months later. Miyazaki has since won two non-title bouts and made a successful title defense against Arina Kobayashi in her most recent outing in May of this year. Petloolaon will be her first foreign opponent, although she won't be the first Muay Thai stylist she's faced. Miyazaki was able to beat Saya Ito, Japan's most decorated female Muay Thai practicioner, by majority decision in a Kickboxing bout on September 21 of the past year.

Petloolaon will make both her RISE and her Kickboxing rules debut, as all her previous fights took place under Muay Thai rules. The 17-year-old holds a significant experience edge over her opponent however, with 42 total fights to her name. A win for Miyazaki, at the biggest event of her career so far, could potentially raise her profile among kickboxing fans and combat sports fans in general.

Miyazaki is the third RISE Champion added to the event, with both Chan Hyung Lee and Kazuki Osaki expected to make an appearance at the event. The card will be headlined by a Super Flyweight title bout between the pound-for-pound ranked Champion Kazuki Osaki and title challenger Kazane.
