In the co-main event of the evening, Regian Eersel once again got the better of Alexis Nicolas, outpointing the Frenchman over five rounds in the final chapter of their trilogy. Despite the win, Eersel left the cage without the ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Title, having missed weight and failed hydration ahead of the fight.
Eersel took control early, dictating the pace and landing clean combinations upstairs and to the body. Nicolas responded with sharp low kicks, hoping to wear down the Surinamese striker, but Eersel remained composed and in control.
Momentum swung further in Eersel’s favor in the second round, as he stepped up the pressure and dropped Nicolas with a heavy left hook in the closing moments of the frame.
"Barboza" came out firing in the third, looking to turn the tide. However, Eersel stayed a step ahead, landing the more accurate and telling shots down the stretch.
After three high-paced rounds, Eersel was awarded a majority decision victory. While he added another win to his record, the title remained vacant due to his weight miss.
