ONE Flyweight Kickboxing champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 is set to make his second title defense against Elias 'The Sniper' Mahmoudi on January 12, 2024 in the main event of ONE Fight Night 18 on Amazon Prime Video.
Superlek returns to kickboxing to defend his throne after an impressive 3-win stint in Muay Thai, blemished only by missing weight for his last two fights. His controversial loss to Ilias Ennahachi remains his only loss in ONE Championship.
Elias Mahmoudi, who most recently displayed a one-sided electrifying finish against Edgar Tabares in Muay Thai, hopes to kick off his new year as the ONE Flyweight kickboxing world champion. He previously fought for the same belt against Petchdam Petchyindee Academy back in 2019 resulting in a decision loss.
Interestingly enough, that also rules out that Takeru will get an immediate crack at the title, as he's rumored to return around the same time frame at ONE 165 in Tokyo, Japan.
More fights are expected to be added in the coming weeks.
