ONE Championship returned Lumpinee Stadium with ONE 169: Rodtang vs. Smith II.

Rodtang delivered a dominant performance against the outmatched Jacob Smith in the co-main event of ONE 169 in Bangkok. After suffering a cut in the third round, Smith struggled to find his rhythm. Rodtang controlled the fight throughout, though the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai title remains vacant due to his failure to make weight.

JACKIE BUNTAN VS. ANISSA MEKSEN

Jackie Buntan claimed the inaugural ONE Women’s Strawweight Kickboxing World Title with a razor-close performance against Anissa Meksen. Although the Filipino-American fighter initially struggled to adjust to the new ruleset, repeatedly catching kicks and clinching early in the fight, she delivered the more decisive moments when it mattered most.

Buntan found her rhythm late in the second round, landing a jab-cross combo that shifted momentum in her favor. From there, she pressured Meksen with body shots and hooks in close exchanges, countering the French-Algerian’s attempts to fight off the back foot.

By the final round, Buntan had successfully neutralized Meksen’s leg kicks, allowing her to jump in and out of range with well-timed strikes that kept her opponent on the defensive. After five rounds, the judges awarded Buntan a unanimous decision, bringing her record to 27-6 and crowning her as the division's first ONE Women’s Strawweight Kickboxing champion.

This victory also makes Buntan a successor to her former Boxing Works teammate, Janet Todd, as a ONE World Champion.

SAM-A VS. ZHANG PEIMIAN

The 41-year-old Sam-A delivered a dominant performance against his 20-year-younger opponent, Zhang Peimian. Though Zhang initially surprised him with speed, the veteran quickly found his rhythm, landing consistently with his southpaw triple threat: the left kick, left knee, and left straight. Despite five years away from kickboxing, Sam-A’s impressive showing puts him right back in the title conversation within ONE’s competitive strawweight division.
