ONE Championship returned to Lumpinee Stadium with ONE Fight Night 11.

ONE Fight Night 11 took place yesterday in Bangkok, Thailand at the Lumpinee Stadium. The event featured the ONE Lightweight Muay Thai title fight between reigning champion Regian Eersel and Dmitry Menshikov. The card featured several other high-level kickboxers, such as Superbon against Tayfun Ozcan and Guto Inocente against Rade Opacic.

HIGHLIGHTS

Regian Eersel def. Dmitry Menshikov – Regian Eersel barely broke a sweat, as he beat top challenger Dmitry Menshikov to extend his massive winning streak to 22 fights straight. An inconspicuous left hand rattled the equilibrium of the Russian fighter, making it impossible for him to continue.

Superbon def. Tayfun Ozcan – Superbon has once again showcased a masterclass in kicking, knocking out Tayfun Ozcan with a brutal high kick. Ozcan had the right idea, trying to force the former champion into the pocket while using his superior hand speed to his advantage. A strategic back-and-forth in the opening round was followed by much of the same in the second round. Just as Ozcan finished a 5-punch combination, Superbon saw an opening, cracking the chin of his opponent from under his guard. "I want Chingiz Allazov next!”, was his enthusiastic declaration of revenge after the fight.

Arian Sadikovic def. Nieky Holzken – Arian Sadikovic had a great showing, imposing his high-volume pressure style on Nieky Holzken to win a unanimous decision. Holzken came alive in the final round, landing his signature liver shots and low kicks, but it was too little, too late.

Rade Opacic def. Guto Inocente – Early in the fight Opacic was the main initiator, with Inocente on the back foot trying to find better angles on the towering Serbian fighter. At the end of the opening three minutes, Opacic's right hand found its target dropping Inocente. Opacic started the second round much stronger, looking confident in his ability to finish the fight. As the fight went on, the pace slowed down with both fighters starting to look tired. In the end, all three judges scored the bout for Rade Opacic.
