As kickboxing continues to grow on a global scale with promotions like GLORY, K-1, ONE Championship, and more, fighters are constantly jockeying for position in the media's eyes, and rankings. Every month, the Beyond Kickboxing board will compile kickboxing rankings for each weight class from Heavyweight to Flyweight, as well as the pound-for-pound rankings for both men and women.
POUND-FOR-POUND MEN
Petchpanomrung Kiatmookao (4) defeated David Mejia by split decision to successfully defend his GLORY Featherweight title for the seventh time.
POUND-FOR-POUND WOMEN
Tiffany Van Soest (1➡NR) leaves the rankings as her last fight was her official retirement.
HEAVYWEIGHT (+95 KG)
Levi Rigters (6) stopped Ion Taburceanu with low kicks in the first round. Taburceanu took the fight on a day's notice after Martin Terpstra withdrew on injury.
LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT (-95 KG)
Luis Tavares (4➡NR) lost by decision to Bogdan Stoica in a bout that turned into a 100 KG catchweight at the last minute. This makes him inactive in the 95 KG division for 18 months and winless in over two years. He therefore leaves the rankings.
Mikita Shostak (NR➡10) makes his entry after defeating Valery Bizyaev by decision.
Nikita Kozlov (7➡9) lost by decision to undefeated Dutch fighter Thian De Vries (NR➡8) who enters the list.
Lukas Achterberg (10➡NR) subsequently leaves the rankings.
MIDDLEWEIGHT (-85 KG)
Mohamed Touchassie (NR➡8) enters. The former ranked Welterweight made a successful move up a weight class. He scored three knockdowns in the second round to stop the ten fight winning streak of Eduard Aleksanyan in his GLORY debut.
Khalid El Bakouri (8➡NR) leaves the rankings after a year of inactivity and no recent high ranked wins.
Aleksandar Petrov (NR➡10) makes his entry, the Bulgarian veteran has won his last twelve fights with his most recent victory being a unanimous decision over Karim Mabrouk in his GLORY debut.
His entry pushes Serdar Eroglu (10➡NR) out.
Sergey Ponomarev (5) stopped Juri De Sousa with punches a minute into the fight.
WELTERWEIGHT (-77 KG)
Regian Eersel (2➡NR) leaves the rankings due to 18 months of inactivity under kickboxing rules.
Arian Sadikovic (NR➡9) reenters.
Mohamed Touchassie (6➡NR) leaves the rankings, his last two fights happened above the 77 KG limit and he publicly announced his ambitions at a new weight.
Diaguely Camara (10) makes his entry. The french fighter defeated Ilyass Chakir by unanimous decision, stopping his 14 fights win streak.
LIGHTWEIGHT (-71 KG)
Giorgio Petrosyan (6➡NR) leaves the rankings after 18 months of inactivity.
Stoyan Koprivlenski (NR➡9) reenters after winning his rematch against Sorin Caliniuc by unanimous decision.
Tawanchai (9➡8) won by unanimous decision against Jo Nattawut who took the fight on short notice. A controversial decision in the eyes of many fans.
SUPER FEATHERWEIGHT (-67.5 KG)
Petchpanomrung Kiatmookao (1) defeated David Mejia (6) by split decision to successfully defend his GLORY Featherweight title for the seventh time.
