As kickboxing continues to grow on a global scale with promotions like GLORY, K-1, ONE Championship, and more, fighters are constantly jockeying for position in the media's eyes, and rankings. Every month, the Beyond Kickboxing board will compile kickboxing rankings for each weight class from Heavyweight to Flyweight, as well as the pound-for-pound rankings for both men and women.
No fighter in the top 10 at Super Featherweight (-67.5 kg), Super Bantamweight (-61 kg), Flyweight (-53 kg), Women's Openweight (+59 kg), Women's Flyweight (-53.5 kg), and Women Atomweight (-47kg) has been active this month.
HEAVYWEIGHT (+95 KG)
Antonio Plazibat (5 to NR) exits the rankings. He has been inactive for 15 months and recently announced that he would not be medically cleared to compete for the next 6 months.
Francesko Xhaja (10 to NR) exits the rankings after 18 months of inactivity.
Sofian Laidouni (8 to 9) lost by unanimous decision to Nico Pereira Horta (NR to6).
Guto Inocente (7 to 8) stopped Jefferson Salviano with a body kick a minute into his K-1 Brazil Grand Prix quarterfinal. In the semifinals he lost by unanimous decision to Ariel Machado after receiving a count in the second round.
Ariel Machado (NR to 7) had previously stopped Abner Ferreira in his quarterfinal bout. In the final he defeated Jhonny Klever by technical knockout in the third round and won the K-1 Brazil Grand Prix.
LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT (-95 KG)
Ștefan Lătescu (5 to 6) was knocked out by Cem Caceres (NR to 5) who scored a first round stoppage with a perfect left hook to the liver.
MIDDLEWEIGHT (-85 KG)
Ertugrul Bayrak (9 to NR) exits the rankings after 18 months of inactivity.
Eduard Aleksanyan (NR to 10) re-enters.
Serkan Özçağlayan (5) defeated Jante Nnamadim by unanimous decision.
WELTERWEIGHT (-77 KG)
Jay Overmeer (8) defeated Ismail Ouzgni by technical knockout. Ouzgni couldn't beat the count after he injured his back.
LIGHTWEIGHT (-71 KG)
Kaito Ono (6) took down another GLORY-ranker, with Dragomir Petrov failing to make the count after a knockout throw in the second round.
FEATHERWEIGHT (-64 KG)
Taio Asahisa (2 to NR) exits the rankings after 18 months of inactivity.
Hirotaka Asahisa (NR to 8) who defeated Zhang Lanpei by unanimous decision makes his entry.
Chan-Hyung Lee (4 to NR) exits the rankings after as he is ranked in the division lower and hasn't competed at the weight in over a year.
Zhang Jingtao (NR to 10) re-enters.
BANTAMWEIGHT (-58 KG)
Kaito Sakaguchi (4) defeated Ryoga Hirano by unanimous decision.
SUPER FLYWEIGHT (-55 KG)
Koki Osaki (6) defeated Ryunosuke Omori (9) by unanimous decision to defend his RISE Bantamweight 55 kg title. While the challenger displayed a sharp jab, he struggled to keep up with Osaki's pressure in the pocket.
Kumandoi (4) lost to Petchsila Wor.Auracha by decision under Muay Thai rules. This doesn't affect his ranking.
WOMEN'S BANTAMWEIGHT (-57.5 KG)
Débora Evora (6 to 5) defeated Zelal Sengür by unanimous decision to become the WAKO Pro -55 kg world champion.
Sarah Moussadak (4 to 6) who has been inactive for over a year falls in the rankings.
Chellina Chirino (7 to 9) who has been inactive for over a year under kickboxing rules goes down two spots.
Ella Maria Grapperhaus (10 to NR) leaves the rankings after 18 months of inactivity.
Michaela Kerlehova (10) makes her entry.
WOMEN'S STRAWWEIGHT (-50.0 KG)
Mei Miyamoto (3) defeated Melty Kira by unanimous decision.
Lucia Apdelgarim (6) lost to Luny Silva by split decision in a 53 kg catchweight bout. This doesn't affect her ranking.
