ONE Championship made its debut in the United States with ONE Fight Night 10.

ONE Fight Night 10 took place in Denver, Colorado. The event featured the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai title fight between the reigning champion Rodtang against the WBC Champion, Edgar Tabares.

HIGHLIGHTS

Rodtang Jitmuangnon def. Edgar Tabares – Rodtang scored an impressive knockout to defend his ONE Flyweight Muay Thai title for the fifth time in his debut on American soil. Both fighters landed well in the opening round. Rodtang with clean one-two's and low kicks, while Tabres tried to time spinning elbows in response. Rodtang continued to score with hard jabs and straights, while the Mexican reddened the Thai’s lead legs. The Mexican fighter looked surprisingly sharp, taking the opening round. Rodtang found his groove in the next round, cornering Tabares against the cage and landing clean punches, staggering him with elbows. Tabares attempted another spinning elbow near the cage, but Rodtang executed a short counter elbow, dropping Tabares and ending the fight.

Rodtang earned a rare $100,000 bonus after the fight and called out Jonathan Haggerty for ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai title. Haggerty captured the belt last month in what ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong called the 'biggest upset in Muay Thai history' against Nong O.

Backstage, Rodtang also called out Takeru Segawa, Japanese kickboxing superstar and former K-1 champion. It was announced that Takeru signed with ONE Championship last week. Before his ONE debut, he is booked to face Bailey Sugden for ISKA world title fight on June 24.

In a post-fight interview with Takeru's exclusive distributor, Abema TV, Rodtang sent a direct message to the watching Takeru, "If it is ONE Championship, whether it is Muay Thai or Kickboxing, I will be waiting for you, Takeru."

Jackie Buntan def. Diandra Martin – Jackie Buntan bounced back from her title defeat with a first round knockout over Diandra Martin. The Filipino American started well, repeatedly backing the Australian to the cage with teeps and scoring with clean hooks in early exchanges. With 30 seconds left in the first round, Jackie feinted the jab, landed a left hook to the body and right straight, dropping Diandra to the canvas and forcing the referee to save the Australian. Unfortunately, Jackie was not qualified for a performance bonus after failing to make weight. After the fight, Jackie called for a rematch for Strawweight Muay Thai World Title against Smilla Sundell, who has yet to defend the belt since their last encounter in April 2022. She also expressed interest in fighting for the vacant Strawweight Kickboxing World Title.

Stamp Fairtex def. Alyse Anderson Also on the card, Stamp Fairtex, the former ONE Muay Thai and Kickboxing World champion, finished Alyse Anderson with a picture-perfect liver shot kick. She earned herself an interim MMA World Title fight with Seo Hee Ham and $50,000 bonus. She also declared her plan to become the first simultaneous three-sport world champion in MMA, kickboxing and Muay Thai.
